Well, I am recovering little by little. The incisional line with the staples closed up…and then a portion opened right back up. It is still open, over two months since the surgery. I am now seeing some improvement on that wound, finally, after seeing a wound specialist. Another one needed to be opened by him, though, so I have another opening. I take care of it all myself, so don’t have a need for a home care nurse.
My stomach muscles, obviously, are not back up to par because of all that. I have had to continue using a walker for support as the crutch hurts me to use. Hopefully I will be back to the crutch soon.
