Post chemo hair…I want my old hair back!

Well, I officially stopped wearing my scarves about a week ago. Unfortunately, while I have hair, it is not…normal. I guess that’s to be expected after everything I’m going through. First off, my hair is *groans* curly. The way I have always preferred to style my hair, pre-chemo, curliness is definitely not a blessing. I guess I’m gonna need a stronger putty. 🙂 Then there’s the color…my hair can’t seem to decide what it wants to be. Overall, it is a lighter brown than before. But then there’s the oddball strands…black, GRAY, blonde… The gray ones are especially depressing considering I’m nowhere near old enough to have them.

So, my mom, who is staying with us after my most recent surgery, cut my hair today. That got rid of some of the blasted curls, at least.
