Updates

I am still waiting to hear back from the doctors. I called today to find out what is going on. The receptionist is going to try to speed things along, which is good because I am in a lot of pain, more so that usual. Also, I was vomiting again on Monday…

I did have an appointment on Monday with my regular (gyn.) oncologist. My check-up was okay. I still need blood work, so I guess we’ll find out what my CA125 (ovarian cancer marker test) will tell at that point. Hopefully it has stayed steady. They are combining the blood work, though, with the pre-admission blood work being done for the surgery. This is to save me extra needle sticking.

Brian’s mother finally got out of the hospital yesterday. She had been there since Sunday. She’s happy to finally be able to be back in her new apartment.
